*gag* The pressure is really building on now. : (( How can I sit here and not do anything?? ARGHHHHHHH

Anyway last night's purple moon was a tad disappointing! The music was like shit. But the company was good and they really took care of me. haha I was one drink away from hugging the toilet bowl. Did crazy things and had supper too. : )) Then Cher came over to stay and I'm damn stoned now. Stuck with my infamous left boob rash. sigh

Waiting for the washing machine to be done before I can get back to sleep.

Tmr. tmr I shall seriously execute my plan. hurhurhur

My legs ache like hell now. haha that's so much for being ge kiang to run from my home to NTU. But it was shiok to go jogging. After what seemed like a few decades from the last time my wobbly legs got themselves moving. I shall go again soon! : ))

Anyway I came back and spent a really domesticated day. Talked to my neighbours when I got back and then looked through some of my old photo albums where I laughed alot. seriously ALOT. My parents wore similar shoes, there was a photo of me in p2 in a bright orange swimsuit and 2 nice bundles of fats spilling out from the front, a pic of Bel where she smiled and her eyes were completely gone, my sis and I wore similar clothes and a real classic pic of me in super tight tights and some sailormoon looking top which I was damn sure my mum made me wear. *wipes the tears away. Those were the days man!!!! I wish I had a scanner then all of us can have a good laugh. Bel you should so see your photo. It had me laughing the hardest.

Went for lunch with mw this afternoon and had a real good time. Talked alot over pizza and drumlets. Then I went to NTUC and bought some french beans to be fried for dinner. yeah I cooked dinner!! and my french beans turned out really nice and crunchy.

Tmr is yet another domestic day! I borrowed two books from the library though with recommendation from mw so shall spend the day reading them whilst the part time maid comes to clean up. Meanwhile rest my legs too and get ready for the next short marathon. hahaha i'm such a weakling. boo

Total damage done from bkk:

-12 tops
-3 slippers
-1 skirt
-1 pants
-1 watch
-3 bags
-2 necklaces
-2 pencil cases
-2 bras
-4 packs of panty liners
-10 boxes of banana pocky

Despite the pre-bkk "quality not quantity!!" psych. Gee man everything was so cheap I really couldn't control myself at all. hahaha but all in all the trip was helluva rushed but super shiok trip. I bought and grabbed without having to set aside monetary reserves for other days. And chatuchak was the best. Though they say pratunam would have been cheaper, I still liked chatuchak alot!!! Needless to say most of my money was spent there.

I went and bought this original fcuk top from bkk though it was more expensive but it was a die-die also must buy kinda top. Moreover the salesgirl here told me it was sold out but as fate would have had it, they friggin restocked. WTF.

It was really pleasant to see so many familiar faces back at uni today. : )) albeit the damn boring lectures, it still felt good to be back in uni. haha i'm not kidding! Well anyway then I met Cher for dinner and came home.

No more lectures for the rest of the week!! halleluia. one more week man one more week. Before hell sets in. Oh I went to see prof wong today and got quite a bit of disappointing news. Sigh it's over anyway and I can't do anything about it so wth. Sometimes I just get confused with what pple say. That's prolly cos I'm so easliy swayed. Like I would have already made up my mind but have no confidence to see my decision through. And that's where I fail. Still wishing I could have been smarter to approach Prof wong. But as said, it's all too late.

Nvm there's still much more to look forward to in this new sem. And of course my newly stocked up wardrobe!!! : ))

JEDI COUNCIL 3!!!!

Camp was FANTASTIC!!! i mean it being my first camp and blah blah blah, i have to say I really really enjoyed myself and kudos to all who organised it.

My og turned out really good and we bonded in one way or another i suppose. Got to know a few more valuable friends and despite the lethargy and total lack of sleep, I'm just glad I went for the camp and had this great first. : )))

Qing was the best company ever. She really took care of me and in turn we were well taken care by Jason and Gavin. So now I've got pple to sell my textbooks to and I'm going to drop one of my modules cos it's supposedly killer.

Off to Bangkok tmr!! Three more days of non stop walking. I think my legs will auto fold themselves into 2 by the time I get back to sg.

Update again when I get back!!

This is for qing : "jedi will win the war (*3)" hahaha your voice and that cheer just sticks in MY HEAD.

The weekend flew by in a flash!!

Spent sat with the girls and some of their halves watching the fireworks at the waterfront bay by the esplanade. We were all charmed and I video-ed some of it. haha it'll definately be so much nicer on national day itself. I'll go down again on national day itself for sure!!

Bought a new hp too since the plan was expiring and my old one was getting a little cranky. So wanted the samsung one but it was so expensive. Sigh! So in the end I settled for the Motorola razr V3. Loving it too but takes some time to get used to. The camera function sucks quite a fair bit though and it's my first camera phone so how disappointing.

Spent the whole day with family today since I won't be at home for the next three days. haha I can already forsee myself being zombie-fied on wednesday after the camp. I think before I know it uni would have started once again. sigh!

Shall go sleep and recharge to check into camp tmr. yay! don't laugh, but seriously this is my FIRST TIME going into a camp. wahhaahha was never quite fated to go for camps man.

I was in the midst of a dream when I heard the doorbell ring. And I thought it was part of the dream till the ringing persisted. What the hell, the part time maid arrived prematurely. Sigh so I opened the door and nearly cursed her with the best of my ability. I forgot what I had dreamt about. haha so I can't tell mimi about my dream like all the other days..

Well but anyway, tonight's finally the last night of our continuous string of shows we've worked for!!! *cheers* And I partnered Uncle B. for most of the shows man.. haha I think his vibes sort of rubbed off me. I talked to 3 patrons last night about anything and everything. haha 2 of them were late so we just chatted whilst waiting for the latecomers cue.. They were from Korea! and as I ushered them in one of them told me "thank you for talking!" The other was an ang moh guy who was telling me how bad the band was. haha he left early.

Anyway some patrons just deserve to be shot in the head. This woman wrote feedback and said the seats are easy to find so she didn't see the need for ushers to show the patrons all the way to their seat during the latecomers cue. Ya right bullshit la! if she was the latecomer going in when it's rather dark see if you can find your damned seat. And she complained that the pre-show announcement to tell patrons that the show would be starting in 1 min was irritating and cannot be heard (how did she find it irritating then). AND so it should be replaced with flickering lights to warn them that the show is starting. Another whole load of bullcrap I'll say, because if I were the patron I would have thought there was some emergency evacuation or something. Flickering lights?? What the hell was she thinking?!

I guess that's just the nature of people. More likely than not they would only feedback if there was something they were not happy with. A rare few actually automatically write feedback commenting on how good something was. And I would never ask patrons to write feedback because I think it should be a voluntary thing. Am highly disgusted with people who ask patrons to write feedback about themselves. To think that I was so impressed last time by the fact that so many patrons wrote positive feedback for that person. Then one day I realised why.

So much so for work. I'm taking a break from there till the 28th.

I've been so tired I actually dream alot. And it makes me feel even more tired when I wake up the next day.

I feel damn shagged. Working both mat and night shift is no joke seriously. And the mat show drags so long such that we hardly have time to eat our measly bread. (thank god for bread talk and their 5th anniversary promotion) but yeah another full day tomorrow. I just gave up my sat show because I prolly won't hold out till then. My legs and arms ache and THERE ARE SO MANY STINKY SECONDARY SCHOOL SHITES who disgustingly deposit their rather sticky bags at the baggage cart much to our displeasure and who effortlessly stink up the entire concert hall with their student odour. Ok fine I would probably have been viewed the same way a few years back but i'm damn tired la stupid students just keep turning up for every single show.

On the much brighter side, I received my first ever positive feedback (written) from a slightly handicapped patron today. *beams* She commended the 4 of us who helped her in some way or another and wrote it down. hurhurhur I am so proud!! But yeah if was of course my very "zhai
" partners who really gave their services 100%. : ))) Uncle B has almost definately become my permanent partner. For the past 5 shows I've worked for I was his partner for 3 of them!

Anyway this week will pass by damn fast. And so will next week. Three days at camp, meet mw on thursday then i'm off to Bangkok on friday. School starts when I get back!! How sad my last three weeks are just going to fly by like this. I think I was as busy as during semester time. I shall admit it then, I like to be busy. haha wtf am I talking about now man.. It's the post-work-waiting-for-stupid-show-to-start syndrome.

There's some guiness book of world records thing showing now. The things they do are so stupid. Naked people go on the roller coaster and it is a record. *rolls eyes*

20 mins more. Sigh.. JANICE TAN!! when are we going to next meet up you bobo..

Which words have got no vowels in them at all!!??

School experience started on tuesday and ended with a blast yesterday. I seriously miss those kids already.

Tuesday was quite a bore. Walked around the staffroom quite a bit and the classes I observed were the upper primary. I think as you grow older you tend to get more reserved and quiet so I felt rather sleepy.

On wednesday I entered my Primary one class for the first time and it was such a joy. I love them so so so much!!! It's so easy to forgive them once they give you that innocent look. hahaha and seriously their minds are for you to mould and nurture. I'd love to teach lower primary in the future for sure.

But the realll deal came when we had the privilege of following the primary one kids on an excursion to the science centre. a little tiring, but enjoyable nonetheless. They jumped at everything that excited them and were so forgetful. Seriously they're rather spoilt. One whole BIG packet of twisties just for a short half hour break. gee!!! then they ran here and there but all in all it was rather well controlled and all the kids enjoyed themselves. I really did too. Listening to what they had to say was really such a joy cos they're so enthusiastic and ever ready to share. *smiles

Upon return to the school I was presented with a card that the kids drew. And my heart melted there and then. I miss them so much and am so glad I had chosen the primary school route. : )))

All in all this school experience has been a fantastic one. I enjoyed every moment of it! : ))) And it got me yearning to start my teaching career asap. whahaha..

After the tiring day I went for dinner with the usual nie gang. Then did some shopping after. teehee.. despite my vow to not spend in the next few decades. I can't help it la.. every buy is linked to bonus is coming ma.. so let's all go out now and SHOP SHOP SHOP!!!

Unfortunately I've got tuition to go to. I think after looking at all the other kids, I think my tuition kid is actually quite smart. HAHAHA

I swelled with pride upon receiving this lovely card Posted by Picasa

Cher and the char kway teow plus hokkien mee!!! and sugarcane with lemon too Posted by Picasa

Finally have some time to post pictures up. : )) The past week has been busy, busy, busy!!! One of the highlights definately was the Beckham sighting. Whilst I was waiting for Cher at the esplanade so that we could have dinner together, Beckham came along!! hahaha.. ya right. He was there for the IOC opening ceremony and so i sat outside. Then he arrived in a very low profile van I think if I didn't turn around I would have missed him as well. Too bad it was an unexpected arrival, if not I could have gotten a better pic. sigh! But oh well I'm very contented. : )) A glimpse was what I hoped for and I got it.

Next on the list Takeshi!! or Brad would suffice too. haha I was just telling Cher that if Takeshi walked past Janice and I we would have fainted.

Anyway Cher arrived like eons later, so I chatted with Uncle B and anne. Went to makansutra for some makan that wasn't impressive at all, then headed back for more sightings. (they sound alienic) So we sipped (ok fine it was mroe of gulping it down) at hagen daz, and waited for everyone to walk past!! They were headed for the rooftop so we went into Hagen daz. Tony Blair and wife walked past and so did Raoul. haha I couldnt identify the rest.. Becks wasn't invited to the rooftop thing. Darn!! And neither did i see Ian nor sharapova nor grant. Not that I really minded. haha : ))

So that marked the end of our tuesday excitement!!!

hahaha a bit small i know so save it and open with another program then can see better! Posted by Picasa

It's 6pm and I'm packing my bag for tomorrow. Got quite bored so I went and retyped all the important information that will be useful for the next four days to come. Well... i'm all packed and ready!!!

It's been 4 days since grams arrived. And they've been playing mahjong for i think more than 24 hours. Therefore I am bored. Because I cannot go out and they're so engrossed in mahjong i'm like stoning. And thinking about the new phone I want to get quite badly but most places are out of stock. Sighhh 10th of July come forward!!!

I have a sudden desire to cook. And eat japanese rice with chopsticks.

They're done!!! dinner time. haha realise it's eat.. mahjong.. eat again.

The photos shall tell of the good time we had last night. : ))

Mimi just told me the esplanade only called back certain ushers to work for the special special event. Sigh. This is called retribution for trying to siam everything and anything. But nonetheless heck. I am so going to stand there amidst 4421412543543 other screaming females for my chance to see them in person.

I can't quite breathe.

WHO WANTS TO GO TO THE ESPLANADE THIS COMING TUESDAY?!?!?!!

I hope, beckham, ian thorpe, grant hackett and blah blah blah will be there. I AM SO DYIING TO WORK. what the freak I didn't realise this event was THAT big when the slots were released. Was it released in the first place? It's closed now. It's going to be such a HIGH PROFILE event and I would be so damn excited if I could only work. oh god please please please please grant me with a chance at this. I would die to see beckham and ian and grant.
